This is our regular Itinerary but it
may change due to weather or any Unforeseeable situation.
This land-only trip starts and ends in Beijing. What follows is
a brief description of the activities for each day of the tour.

Day 1: Depart for Beijing. The main group
will be flying from Vancouver, Canada.
Day 2: Arrive in China's magnificent
capital, Beijing. Meet at the airport and transfer to hotel, with
arrival in late afternoon.
Day 3: After breakfast, depart for
ShiJiaZhuang, 280 km south of Beijing, capital of the HeBei
Province. See the world's largest natural echo precipice, and the
oldest stone arched bridge. On to the University of Senior
Citizens to meet the 'students', visiting Chinese seniors' in
their homes.
Day 4: In ShiJiaZhuang, we will see the
morning Tai Chi exercises of the senior citizens in a park. This
morning, we will participate in classes at the University. Later
we visit LongXing Temple, built 1400 year ago.
Day 5: The morning we visit an authentic
Chinese Bazaar. Later we experience life on a family farm. This
afternoon, attend a lecture n 'Appreciation of Chinese Art', with
special attention paid to the ancient art of brush painting.
Day 6: 140 km south of Beijing is 2300
year old historic city BaDing, where the inhabitants live an extra
4.6 years. Visit the ancient 'Lotus Pond', and see military relics
at the well-maintained Zhili Governor's Office Building, once
temporary Quing Palace.
Day 7: Join a Tai Chi morning exercise,
before returning to Beijing. Today we visit TianAnMen Square,
Palace Museum (The Forbidden City). This evening we are treated to
a performance of Beijing Opera.
Day 8: Scenic drive to the 2700 year old
Great Wall of China; hike at your own pace at one of the Great
Wonders of the World. Later we tour the excavated Ming Dynasty
Emperor's Tomb. Tonight you will be entertained by the
world-famous Chinese National Acrobatic Show.
Day 9: This morning takes us to see live
Giant Pandas at Beijing Zoo. Afternoon tour of the Summer Palace,
then shop the famous Friendship Store for souvenirs of silk and
jade. Dinner is a traditional 'Beijing Roast Duck' farewell
banquet.
Day 10: Transfer to Beijing Airport for
your return flight home.
