This is a large group of historical sites and structures
which holds the remains of 5 emperors, 14 empresses and 136
imperial concubines/ princesses. After entering this GATE,
which had been a forbidden area for hundreds of years, it is
the large imperial cemetery. We will enter the tomb of CI
XI, who was the most powerful empress in the Qing
Dynasty. |
